There was an emergency on a Ferris wheel at the Highfield Festival in Germany.
One of the gondolas was engulfed in flames, which instantly spread to other structures on the wheel.
Four people suffered burns as a result of the fire. Another person was injured as a result of a fall. This is reported by the publication Bild.
The flames first broke out of one gondola and then spread to the second.
One of the visitors to the festival said that after 21:00, people smelled the smell of plastic, and after a few minutes, they already saw the flames that engulfed the Ferris wheels.
Leipzig police said four people suffered burns and one person was injured in the fall.
Another 18 people were poisoned by the products of combustion. Among the injured were members of the emergency services, including police officers.
Two people were seriously injured, according to the head of operations at the German Red Cross.
The victims are in the hospital, and their lives are not in danger.
