The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry responded to Slovak Prime Minister Fico
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry responded to Slovak Prime Minister Fico, who called on Kyiv to give up part of its territories in order to make peace.
The speaker of the department, Oleg Nikolenko, said that Ukraine is protecting Slovakia from Putin’s invasion.
“There can be no compromise on territorial integrity. Neither Ukraine nor Slovakia, nor any other country. Ukraine and partners are making efforts to withdraw Russians from Crimea, Donbass and Lugansk, so that they do not go further, including in Koshitsky, Pryashevsky and other Slovak regions.”
“Let’s speak frankly: without security in Ukraine, there will be no security either in Slovakia or in Europe as a whole. We must work together to bring the Ukrainian victory closer,” Nikolenko wrote.
The day before, it became known that Slovak Prime Minister Fico said that Ukraine must give up part of its territory in order for the war to stop.
“There has to be some kind of compromise. What do they expect, that the Russians will leave Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk? This is unrealistic,” Politico quotes Fico as saying from an interview with RTVS.
