The Ukrainian military for the first time used a flying Kalashnikov assault rifle against Russian troops.
Such a weapon was put into service by a group of Ukrainian engineers, Wild Hornets.
The AK-47 assault rifle was mounted on a platform with four propellers and lifted into the air as a flying drone.
It is reported that at the beginning of winter, such a system attacked Russian troop positions for the first time.
The flying machine can be controlled from a protected position several kilometers away from the operator.
The most difficult thing in such a development is to stabilize the AK-47 during firing, so that the drone does not deviate due to recoil and there is no great dispersion.
It is still unclear how effective such a weapon is, whether and to what extent it will be put into mass production.
Earlier, it was reported about a new Ukrainian development – a drone with an incendiary mixture.
The drone “dragon” captures a large forest area and burns it out meter by meter.
