It became known that the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Poland, Serhii Andreev, ignored the summons to the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ambassador was summoned to give an explanation about the Russian missile that flew into Polish airspace during the attack on Ukraine.
This is reported by SkyNews.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland stated that Warsaw intends to hand over a note of protest to the Russian ambassador Serhii Andreev, “however, he did not come to the ministry today to be summoned.”
The Polish Ministry also noted that the diplomatic note for the Russian side will be sent in a different way.
As you know, during the Russian missile attack on Ukraine, one of the missiles flew 2 km into the territory of Poland and stayed there for about 40 seconds.
Then it was reported that the Polish military had raised its fighters into the air. But they did not shoot down the Russian missile.
After that, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland said that they would demand an explanation from the Russian ambassador regarding the incident with the Russian missile.
