The oldest tattooed woman in the UK has decided to get a third tattoo at the age of 99. Warwickshire writes about it.
Hilda West got her first one when she was 94 years old. She put the initials of her late husband Ernest and son David on her wrist.
She has since added a three-inch butterfly to her shoulder also in memory of the man.
And now plans to do another in honor of her 100th birthday next February.
Hilda, who has eight great-grandchildren, turned to a tattoo parlor near the nursing home where she lives.
She kept her third tattoo a closely guarded secret from her family so they wouldn’t try to stop her.
She noted that she was helped to make an appointment with a tattoo artist by the staff at the home for the elderly.
