The list of cities with the greatest contact of people with UFOs is revealed

Discussion of the topic of Unidentified Flying Objects around the world has not lost its relevance for more than 75 years.

Probably it happened after a mysterious meeting with them in the distant 1947. Then, pilot Kenneth Arnold saw nine strange objects.

They were flying without wings at speeds that exceeded the capabilities of aviation at the time.

In recent years, belief in the existence of extraterrestrial life has increased in American society, despite the official position of the U.S. government on the lack of evidence.

A poll conducted by Gallup researchers showed that the percentage of Americans who believe that some UFOs are of alien origin has risen from 33% to 41%.

This has been driven by both loud statements by Air Force veterans about “inhumane” technology and the Pentagon’s publication of videos of military pilots observing unexplained objects.

Despite this, in 2024, the Department of Defense acknowledged that most of the unexplained phenomena could be explained by weather probes, drones, or communications technology.

The highest number of reports of mysterious objects comes from California, with more than 16,500 as of April 2025.

And the state of Ohio is also recording a significant number of such reports. According to NUFORC, the largest number of sightings are in the state’s major cities.

The list of Ohio cities by the number of UFO reports is topped by Columbus, the state capital, where 280 cases were recorded.

It is followed by Cincinnati (168) and Cleveland (122). The list also includes Toledo (104), Dayton (98), Akron (68), Canton (55), Youngstown (48), Cambridge (45), and Garrettsville (44).

But organizations like NUFORC that accept such reports rely on volunteers and stress; not all records are corroborated or have a scientific basis.
