The European Parliament recognized Lukashenko as involved in the war against Ukraine
Information appeared in foreign media that the European Parliament recognized the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko as involved in the war against Ukraine.
The Belarusian dictator was found guilty along with his friend Putin, and the European Parliament called on the International Criminal Court to issue a warrant for his arrest.
Deputies adopted a resolution on September 13 in Strasbourg during a plenary meeting of the European Parliament.
The resolution was adopted by an overwhelming majority of votes: 453 deputies voted for, 21 voted against, and another 40 abstained.
It is reported that the adopted document also speaks of Lukashenko’s responsibility for oppression and repression against citizens of Belarus.
Also, the EU legislative institution recognized Lukashenko as a participant in Russian war crimes on the territory of Ukraine.
