Scandal with the published map. The European Parliament has published a map showing occupied Crimea as part of the aggressor state of the Russian Federation.
The post was published on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
Social media users noticed that the island was marked as Russian territory.
After the error was pointed out, the publication was deleted and another one was posted – with an apology.
“Thank you to everyone who pointed out the error in this morning’s infographic. We apologize for the mistake and are working to correct it,” wrote representatives of the European Parliament.
