The Crimean bridge is planned to be destroyed in the first half of 2024
The Ukrainian intelligence service (GUR) is planning to launch a third attack on the Crimean bridge in the coming months and put it out of operation.
This is reported by journalists of The Guardian with reference to sources in the Ukrainian intelligence.
It is reported that the destruction of the bridge is inevitable, and the head of Ukrainian intelligence Budanov already has most of the means to achieve this goal in the first half of 2024.
Although the publication writes that there are serious doubts as to whether the GUR is capable of conducting a special operation against such a well-defended and obvious target.
As you know, on July 17, 2023, the Crimean bridge was blown up. Then the bridge was attacked by two surface drones.
Two people were reported dead, two supports were destroyed, and traffic on the bridge was suspended.
Moscow blamed Kiev, but the Ukrainian authorities did not officially admit responsibility for the attack on the Crimean bridge.
