The captured Russian untied his hands and ran to surrender
Ukrainian infantrymen captured a Russian and tied his hands. But he managed to free his hands and ran not to his own side, but to the Ukrainian military.
The video was posted on the channel of the 225th Assault Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A Ukrainian assault group engaged in fire contact with the Russians. One of the occupiers was taken prisoner, and his hands were tied.
During the battle, the Ukrainian fighters withdrew, and the Russian managed to untie himself. Imagine the surprise when the occupier ran to the Ukrainian positions and surrendered.
“The captured Russian probably knew exactly what awaited him if he returned, and he made the right choice—to stay alive,” the regiment commented on the video.
Earlier it was reported that just a few smoke grenades had thwarted the Russian army’s advance. Due to the thick smoke screen, the Russians began to crash into the barricade at full speed.
