According to him, the helicopter for some reason was at the same altitude as the passenger airliner.
Trump said that the crew of the passenger plane acted correctly, the disaster in Washington was provoked, in fact, by the helicopter.
Trump also signaled that he would again tighten flight standards, already strengthened in his first term and then relaxed by Biden.
“I put safety first, Obama, Biden put policy and politics first. Their policy was horrible, their politics even worse,” Trump said.
The US president also confirmed that Russian nationals were killed in the plane crash and expressed sorrow.
