The truck suddenly left its seat and ran down a slope, straight into a group of children.
According to preliminary reports, the driver of the truck forgot to engage the handbrake.
Local media reported that the truck drove off a hillside, hitting the children.
The children were taking part in an event dedicated to the Manas epic.
Preliminarily, 29 children were injured; 18 of them were hospitalized, and 7 are in intensive care.
