Taylor Swift has triumphed at the MTV VMAs 2024

American singer Taylor Swift has won four awards at the MTV Europe Music Awards ceremony in Manchester.

She became the first performer to win the best artist three times in the 30-year history of the awards, the BBC reported.

Swift won the awards for best performer and best American artist, as well as best music video (Fortnight, alongside Post Malone) and concert performance.

She was unable to attend the awards and sent video greetings from the US, where she is preparing to resume the last leg of her Eras tour.

Other winners of the award include singers Raye, Sabrina Carpenter, Tyla, musician Calvin Harris, rapper Eminem and others.
