South Korea’s parliament has voted to lift martial law

The National Assembly has passed a resolution asking to lift martial law, KBSnews reported.

According to Korean TG Channels, lawmakers from opposition parties climbed over the parliament fence to vote in favor of the president’s resignation and lift martial law.

Now there are already clashes between the military and protesters outside the building.

It is currently known that:

Korea’s Defense Ministry has ordered the army to prepare for emergencies and ordered reserve soldiers off duty.

South Korea’s president has said he will purge anti-state forces over the next few days.

It became known that the military were leaving the building of the South Korean Parliament after it adopted a resolution on the abolition of martial law.
