Russian Su-35 almost crashed into an American F-16
A Russian Su-35 nearly crashed into an American F-16 during an interception of intruder aircraft near Alaska.
The video was published by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).
It is noted that the incident occurred on September 23 during the interception of several Russian Tu-95MS and Su-35, which entered the Alaska air defense identification zone.
The video shows the Su-35 performing a “frontal strike” maneuver at very close range and crossed the course of the US fighter.
The Su-35 also created a zone of turbulence that affected the stability of the F-16’s flight.
“The Russian pilot’s act was dangerous, unprofessional and endangered everyone – not something you see in a professional air force,” said Gen. Gregory Guillot.

Earlier, it was reported that the Russian military shot down its own Su-35 plane with the help of an air defense system over occupied Crimea.
Crimean residents have published a video of the downing of a burning Russian Su-35 plane.
