Russian prisoners of war appealed to Putin
Russian prisoners of war who were taken captive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kursk Region, Russia, have appealed to Putin.
The Russian army conscripts have asked Putin to exchange them for Ukrainian prisoners of war from Azov.
The corresponding video was made public on social networks.
The video shows at least ten Russian military personnel standing blindfolded in front of the camera.
“Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, we are conscripts who defended the defense in the Kursk region, after which we were captured. We very much ask you to exchange us for fighters from the Azov regiment,” said one of the Russian captives.
The Russian serviceman also noted that those who were taken prisoner in the Kursk region want to get home to their families and relatives as soon as possible.
It also became known that over the last day, dozens more Russian military personnel were captured in the Kursk region of Russia.
Just from the available videos for the last week, it is clear that several hundred Russian soldiers have been taken captive.
And the real numbers are even higher. According to military analysts, the number of captured Russians has already exceeded 1,000.
