Russia has officially accused Ukraine of involvement in the terrorist attack in Crocusa. This is stated in a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“The investigative actions carried out by the Russian competent authorities indicate that the traces of the latest terrorist attacks lead to Ukraine. Russia has passed a demand to the Ukrainian authorities for the arrest and extradition of all persons involved,” the statement reads.
Russia also demands that Ukraine arrest the head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Malyuk, in connection with his statements about his involvement in the undermining of the Crimean bridge and the murder of a number of people in Russia.
The Russian Foreign Ministry threatened Ukraine with liability for “violating its obligations under anti-terrorist conventions”.
The Security Service of Ukraine has commented on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s accusations of terrorism and the arrest of its head Malyuk
“Trying to appeal to the norms of international law, namely the convention on combating terrorism, the Russian Foreign Ministry forgets that it is Putin who is officially on the international wanted list and is waiting for him at the Hague Tribunal.”
