At least six Russian Shahed combat drones flew into Belarus during the attack on Ukraine.
The Belarusian military repeatedly raised fighter jets from their airfields to destroy the Russian drones.
This was reported by the Belarusian service of Radio Liberty.
As a result of the fall, the downed drone caused the warehouse building to catch fire, none of the people were injured.
‘The fact of violation of the state border of the Republic of Belarus in the airspace, probably by unmanned aerial vehicles, was recorded’.
‘A decision was made to destroy them. By timely actions of the on-duty air defense forces, all the intruder targets were destroyed,’ says the Belarusian command.
At the same time, the representative of the armed forces of Belarus shamefully silent that they were Russian drones.
A video of the shooting down of one of the Russian drones over the Belarusian city of Homiel has appeared online.
