Russian Black Sea Fleet captain’s car blown up in Crimea
A car bomb was reportedly detonated in occupied Sevastopol, Crimea, allegedly carrying a captain of the 1st rank of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
This is the chief of staff of the 41 Russian brigade of missile ships and boats.
According to open sources, he could be Valery Trankovsky, who is directly responsible for the missile strikes on Ukraine.
He gave orders to launch cruise missiles from the waters of the Black Sea against civilian objects in Ukraine.
In particular, he shelled the city of Vinnytsia with Calibramas in July 2022. At that time, 29 Ukrainian civilians were killed.
It is preliminarily known that an improvised explosive device was attached to the bottom of his car on the driver’s side.
The explosive device was detonated remotely when he was driving down the street.
After the rescuers arrived, he was taken out of the bombed vehicle and handed over to medical personnel.
The Russian military officer died on the way to hospital.
Earlier, it was reported that Russian General Pavlo Klimenko was killed on the territory of Ukraine.
He commanded a Russian motorized rifle brigade. This is already the eighth Russian general killed after the war in Ukraine began.
