Rob Reiner’s Son Nick Reiner Charged with Double Murder of Parents 32-year-old Nick Reiner , son of legendary Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner, has been formally charged with two counts of first-degree murder in their stabbing deaths.
Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced the charges, which include special circumstances for multiple murders and use of a deadly weapon (a knife). If convicted, Nick Reiner could face life in prison without parole or the death penalty.
The bodies of Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner were discovered with multiple stab wounds in their Brentwood home in Los Angeles on December 14, 2025. Police arrested their son Nick Reiner shortly afterward near the University of Southern California.
