In Japan, are creating a residential complex for life on the moon. This is reported by Kyodo News.
Scientists from Kyoto University have begun to create a lunar residential complex with artificial Earth gravity.
In cooperation with the construction corporation, Kajima scientists announced an ambitious project called Neo Lunar Glass.
It involves the erection of a parabolic structure on the Moon with a height of 400 meters and a diameter of 200 meters.
Inside the structure will be used rotational motion to artificially simulate the Earth’s gravity.
According to scientists, this will help prevent the loss of bone and muscle mass in people in low gravity.
It is planned that the project will be able to provide housing for up to 10,000 people.
