Prigozhin plane was shot down by Russian air defense fire

Evgeny Prigozhin was among the passengers on the plane that crashed in the Tver region, the Federal Air Transport Agency reports.

Whether Prigogine was exactly on board is currently unknown.

Telegram channels owned by Wagner mercenaries are already writing that Prigozhin’s plane was allegedly shot down by Russian air defense fire.

The plane flew to St. Petersburg from the Moscow region.
Ten people are known to have died in a plane crash in the Tver region, the Russian Emergencies Ministry said.
