In Ukraine, world and European powerlifting champion Alexander Belokon died at the front.

The head of the Ukrainian Wrestling Association Vadim Kisil announced this today.

At the time of his death, the athlete was 32 years old. He was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine in March 2023.

The deceased Alexander Belokon was one of the strongest athletes in Ukraine.

Back in 2017, he set a Ukrainian record for moving a tractor-trailer full of people by a person.

In 2020, Alexander Belokon received a Master of Sports in heroic games.
