One Leopard 2 destroyed an entire armored column of Russians

The Russian army is trying to break through to the frontline town of Pokrovsk, but to do so they must first capture the town of Kurakhovo.

This town is protected by the 33rd Ukrainian mechanized brigade, armed with Leopard 2A4 tanks.

The Russians attempted to break through to the new lines, but the Leopard 2A4’s accurate fire quickly stopped the invaders’ advance.

One Leopard 2A4 tank firing armor-piercing shells punched holes in two Russian tanks.

An armored personnel carrier and several other military vehicles were also hit.

As Forbes analyst David Axe notes, Ukrainian tanks departed from their “cautious strategy” in this battle.

Previously, due to Russian drone attacks, the tanks were often hidden in forests, emerging only to fire a few shots.

This time, the Leopard 2A4 tanks were not cautious at all. They fought in close combat, and managed to win.

Earlier, it was reported that the Ukrainian military tested a new drone with an anti-tank grenade launcher.

This flying grenade launcher was designed as a tactical defensive weapon to repel attacks by Russian tanks and armored infantry vehicles.
