New riots broke out in Amsterdam center
New riots have broken out in the center of Amsterdam despite a ban on mass actions.
Groups with links to pro-Palestinian movements clashed with police and set fire to a streetcar.
The fire was promptly extinguished, there is no information about casualties. The protesters massively chanted the slogan: “Freedom to Palestine!”.
Meanwhile, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schof said that the Government intends to strengthen measures to combat anti-Semitism.
Earlier in Amsterdam, masked men shouting pro-Palestinian slogans organized Jewish pogroms.
It happened after a football match between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
At least 10 Israeli fans were injured and about 60 people were detained.
After that, the Amsterdam city municipality tightened patrols and imposed a ban on any demonstrations until November 14.
