New hybrid robot in a spherical frame!

World of Technology! The well-known company “Revolute Robotics” from Arizona showed a new development, it is a hybrid robot in a spherical frame.

The robot is able to fly like a multicopter or roll in any direction by means of two gyroscopic articulated wheels.

The lightweight exoskeleton protects its propellers and also improves the cushioning of the device when landing or moving through medium terrain.

New works can be applied in the mining industry, for search and rescue and other dangerous work.

The company also plans to produce autonomous drones for the military in the future.
