Elon Musk’s net worth has skyrocketed. He has become the first person in the world whose net worth currently exceeds $500 billion

Musk’s fortune has skyrocketed

American entrepreneur Elon Musk’s fortune has reached $500 billion, according to Forbes magazine.

This makes Musk the first person to be worth half a trillion dollars. Back in March 2020, his net worth was estimated at just $24.6 billion.

But just five months later, thanks to the rapid growth of Tesla’s stock, the entrepreneur became the fifth person in history to reach a net worth of $100 billion.

In September 2021, Musk’s fortune was estimated at $200 billion, in November 2021 at $300 billion, and in December 2024 at $400 billion.

According to Forbes’ forecasts, if the current dynamics continue, Musk could become a trillionaire by March 2033.

In the ranking of the world’s richest people, Musk is followed by Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison ($351.6 billion).

Meta co-founder Mark Zuckerberg ($246.1 billion), Amazon founder Jeff Bezos ($233.2 billion), and Google co-founder Larry Page ($204.6 billion).
