Mowgli child found in Thailand

An 8-year-old boy who lived with dogs in a forest home has been found in Thailand. He does not know human language but communicates using barking sounds.

In Lap Lae district, authorities found an eight-year-old boy who had never attended school and grew up in extremely difficult conditions. This is reported by KhaoSod.

The boy lived in a dilapidated wooden house with his mother, older brother, and six dogs.

As it turned out, the woman suffers from drug addiction; her older son also used drugs.

The mother often asked for food and money from the nearest temple, and neighbors tried to isolate their children from communicating with their brothers.

The boy had no friends, so he made friends with dogs and even began to imitate their behavior.

Now, to express his emotions, he barks. His situation became known after an appeal from the director of the local school.

He reported that the child does not attend classes, although the mother received state support for education.

Now the boy is already in an orphanage. His recovery is being monitored by the Children and Women’s Foundation under the leadership of Pavina Hongsakul.

Law enforcement, social services, and education officials are also involved.
