Messi called Inter Miami his last club in his career
The legend of world football, Argentine striker Lionel Messi, said that Inter Miami would be his last football club.
The football player told reporters on the ESPN Argentina TV channel.
As you know, Messi moved to Inter Miami in July 2023.
According to the 36-year-old striker, he is not yet ready to leave football.
“I’ve been doing this my whole life. I enjoy training and matches, but there is always a fear that they will end someday. I think Inter Miami will be my last club,” said the legendary football player.
Messi’s contract with the MLS club runs until December 2025. The Argentine has scored 14 goals and made 11 assists in 15 matches this season.
In March, Messi said he would retire from football, without thinking about age, when he felt the time had come.
The Argentina national team will take part in the America’s Cup, which starts on June 20 and will last until July 14 this year.
Messi has won football’s Ballon d’Or award a record eight times.
He won the European Champions League four times, and as a member of the Argentine national team, he won the Olympic Games, World Cup and Copa América.
