Former mixed martial arts world champion Conor McGregor is going to the Irish presidential election.

“Ireland, the choice is yours, and it’s simple. Vote for me as your president, and together we will save Ireland,” he wrote in X.

The upcoming elections in Ireland should be held in 2026.

Recall that the other day McGregor visited the White House, talked to the Trump team, and publicly criticized the authorities of Ireland.

He said that the government, for a long time, allegedly does not hear the voice of the Irish people, and it’s time for change.

And McGregor wants the U.S. to recognize what is happening in Ireland.

He also said that illegal migration is destroying his country. And it’s a problem that needs to be addressed urgently

“We consider America our big brother. We want our relationship to continue. The U.S. should take care of its little brother,” the embattled world martial arts champion said.
