McDonald’s installs phone cleaning devices

Information has emerged that McDonald’s is installing phone cleaning devices.

The systems operate on the basis of ultraviolet technology.

Japanese McDonald’s locations have introduced “Cleantech” phone disinfection devices built into washroom sinks.

These systems, powered by ultraviolet technology, destroy up to 99.9% of germs within 30 seconds while customers wash their hands.

This innovative move builds on research showing that the average smartphone is 10 times dirtier than a toilet seat.
