It became known that Emmanuel Macron said in a closed circle that he would send the military to the Ukrainian city of Odessa.

“In any case, in the coming year I will have to send some guys to Odessa,” the French president said on the night of February 21 at the Elysee Palace.
Five days later, Macron spoke publicly about the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine.
“Nothing can be ruled out in terms of dynamics,” Macron responded “without hesitation” to the corresponding question.
According to the publication’s journalists, the French authorities are considering the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine at least from June 2023.
Then this issue was raised at a meeting of the French National Defense and Security Council.
