The self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko allowed his military to use weapons against citizens.

Lukashenko made changes to the regulations of the country’s armed forces, according to which military personnel are allowed to use firearms, special equipment against citizens.
The use of weapons against citizens, according to the document, is permitted even if they commit administrative offenses.
Lukashenko’s changes state that the serviceman “is not responsible for damage caused as a result of shooting when it was carried out in accordance with the requirements.
Previously, the Belarusian dictator signed amendments to the law “On State Security Bodies”, according to which intelligence officers are allowed to use weapons against women, children and the disabled.
Lukashenko also signed amendments to the Law “On the President”, which provide immunity to the Belarusian president and his family for any crimes committed during his rule.
