It became known that at an event attended by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Eco activists disrupted his speech.
They began shouting during Scholz’s answers during Friday’s discussion on Catholic Day in the city of Erfurt. DW reports that.
Protesters from the group “Last Generation” used a megaphone to disrupt the speech of the German chancellor.
It is noted that Scholz’s attempts to speak in defense of the climate were suppressed by protesters.
“You need to be quiet for a while, and then I’ll even answer your question,” Scholz said, pointing to hundreds of other people in the audience who were not participating in the protest.
The presenter then paused the event for a few minutes.
The protesters were escorted out of the room, and some of those gathered expressed their support for Scholz.
The event was then continued, and it ended without other incidents or interruptions.
Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz told Chinese students that he had never smoked cannabis.
Scholz said this during his visit to China, when he visited the local Tongji University.
“Not everyone in Germany uses. I will be 66 years old, but I have never smoked cannabis,” Olaf Scholz.
