Hamas has begun the process of transferring Israeli hostages: the first seven people have been handed over to representatives of the Red Cross

The next stage of the hostage release will take place at 10:00 local time, Al Jazeera reports.

Earlier, Hamas published the names of 20 Israeli hostages who will be released as part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement with Israel.

Meanwhile, Israelis are waiting for the release of their compatriots at the hostage square in Tel Aviv.

Details have emerged about the seven hostages who were handed over to the Red Cross

Gali and Ziva Berman, Matan Angersta, Alona Ohel, Omri Miran, Eitan Mor, and Guy Gilboa-Dallal.

In total, Hamas plans to release 20 living hostages today as part of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. Their names and photos were published earlier.
