It became known that Greta Thunberg appeared in court in London.
This happened when an activist refused to leave a protest in October last year.
As a result, entry to the Energy Intelligence conference was blocked.
This was reported by The Time.
It is known that Thunberg, along with four other protesters, took part in a two-day trial at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in Britain.
They are accused of violating a section of the Public Order Act that allows police to enforce restrictions on public gatherings.
However, Thunberg and other activists pleaded not guilty.
If they are found guilty, they will face a fine of 3170 dollars.
Activists have accused fossil fuel companies of deliberately slowing down the global energy transition to renewable sources in order to make more profits.
They also opposed oil drilling in the North Sea.
