France’s intelligence services recommend canceling the Olympic opening ceremony
It became known that the special services of France because of the terrorist threat recommend canceling the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris.
This, citing a source in the General Directorate of Internal Security of the country reports radio station Europe1.
It is reported that this threat is already familiarized with the head of the Interior Ministry. We are talking about “a scenario of a coordinated attack on the day of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in front of the cameras of world television”.

In his opinion, the current format of the athletes’ parade on the Seine embankment poses too many risks to leave it as it is.
As you know the summer Olympic Games in Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11.
Earlier it was reported that Russian and Belarusian athletes at the Olympics-2024 in Paris were banned to participate in the opening ceremony.
Athletes will compete without counting medals and under a neutral flag.
