Forest fires in Los Angeles have destroyed the million-dollar homes of many Hollywood stars.
The homes of Paris Hilton, Anthony Hopkins, Billy Crystal, Cary Elwes and Mandy Moore have burned down.
Hilton posted an ABC News story on Instagram and said it included footage of her destroyed Malibu home.
Other stars with homes in the area include Adam Sandler, Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and others.
Many are still awaiting word on whether their homes survived being evacuated, AP writes.
Fire officials say at least 2,000 buildings in the upscale Pacific Palisades and Altadena (Pasadena) neighborhoods have burned.
The weather service Accuweather reports that this is the most destructive fire in the history of Los Angeles.
At least five people have died.
And less than 72 hours ago, Hollywood stars gathered on the Golden Globes red carpet.
But the premieres of many films had to be canceled, and the nominees were already being announced by press release.
