It has been reported that a fish that fell from the sky caused a fire in Canada.
A very strange incident occurred in the village of Ashcroft in the province of British Columbia.
According to the local fire department, a scaup—a bird of prey—dropped the fish it had caught from its talons.
During its fall, the prey hit power lines, causing sparks that fell on dry grass.
The fire covered an area of less than an acre and was quickly contained.
As a result of the incident, power was temporarily cut off in Ashcroft, a town with a population of over 1,500 people, 340 km from Vancouver.
