F-35A Lightning II fighter jet crashed in the USA
It has become known that the fifth-generation fighter jet F-35A Lightning II crashed in the United States during flight
The crash occurred during takeoff of the fighter jet in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
ABC News reports that the pilot managed to eject, but was hospitalized with serious injuries.
A U.S. official told reporters in a commentary that the plane was being moved from the factory to be put into service.
The plane that crashed belonged to the U.S. Marine Corps. Now the causes of the accident are being established.
Earlier, it was reported that unknown persons stole $1.2 million from the Falcon 10 airplane, which crashed in the mountains of Afghanistan.
It was also reported about the crash of the Russian military aircraft IL-76. The plane was carrying missiles for S-300 systems.
