Elon Musk’s underground car tunnels under Las Vegas

The Boring Company has released a video showing how work is progressing on the development of an underground transportation network in Las Vegas.

This underground transportation network is better known as Vegas Loop.

It’s worth noting that the concept of the tunnel design has changed a bit recently.

There are no rails, and Tesla electric cars move along it on regular wheels with a limited speed of about 55 km / h.

The autonomous cars were originally planned to be used at speeds of up to 240 km/h, but are now driven by drivers.

As of today, the tunnels are still under construction and the project is planned to be extended to the airport and in the future to Los Angeles.

2.4 kilometers of tunnels have already been completed. When the entire project is complete, the tunnels will be able to carry up to 90,000 passengers per hour.
