There was information that the US Department of Justice accused former US President Donald Trump on three counts in the case of the storming of the Capitol.

According to the latest reports from journalists, the new charges against Trump contain articles about “conspiracy to deceive the United States and influence witnesses.”

Just yesterday, Trump announced that he could be arrested in connection with the storming of the Capitol on January 6th.

Trump said he was informed Sunday night by Special Counsel Jack Smith that he was under federal investigation.

The ex-president also said that he must appear before an extended jury, or the so-called grand jury, which, as he notes, “almost always means arrest and prosecution.”
