Polish general and former Deputy Defense Minister Waldemar Skrzypczak proposed that EU governments deport Ukrainians of military age.
The Polish news portal Onet writes about this.
“This should be an initiative towards the governments in Warsaw, Paris, Prague and wherever they are. These governments should help Kyiv deport them,” Skrzypczak said.
The Polish Foreign Ministry responded to this by saying that they are aware of the current situation and the problem it poses for Ukraine.
They also say that the optimal solution would be to resolve these issues at the European level.
Previously, a number of EU countries stated that they did not intend to expel Ukrainian men liable for military service to Ukraine.
It is also reported that EU countries fear the loss of their assets in the Russian Federation and cyberattacks in the event of confiscation of frozen reserves of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
