A Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup truck exploded near a hotel owned by Donald Trump in Las Vegas.

So far, it is known that one person was killed, seven others received minor injuries.

The owner of the electric car company, Elon Musk, said on social network X that the cause of the explosion was not the Cybertruck itself, but probably its explosive cargo.

According to local law enforcement officials, there were detonated fireworks in the trunk, and the driver of the auto was killed.

Also, as reported by U.S. President Joe Biden, the version about possible connection of this incident with the collision of the car with the crowd in New Orleans is considered.

As a result of which at least 15 people were killed. In both cases, the cars were rented through the carsharing service Turo.
