Google is launching a new tool called ImageFX to create images from text, powered by artificial intelligence.
The user enters a text request, and ImageFX generates an image based on the description.
The company called “expressive chips” a distinctive feature of the service – a list of recommendations based on keywords, thanks to which users can experiment with pictures and add new elements to them.
However, the tool does not generate offensive, violent or sexual content, and does not create images of famous people.
All images generated by ImageFX receive a SynthID digital watermark. It is invisible to people, but visible to search engines and browsers – thanks to it, they understand that the content was created by AI.
ImageFX is available for free. Currently, it only supports English.
