It became known that Colombia has agreed to accept airplanes with migrants from the United States, the White House said.
This happened after the conflict, during which the Colombian authorities refused to land two American planes with deported Colombians.
Trump retaliated by imposing 25% duties against Bogota and revoking the visas of officials.
The White House spokeswoman then announced that the U.S. and Colombia had agreed to unrestricted admission of migrants to be taken back to Colombia.
They will be allowed to return home, including on U.S. military aircraft, without restrictions or delays.
The U.S., in turn, will not impose tariffs or economic sanctions imposed by Trump unless Colombia violates the agreement.
Earlier, it was also reported that Colombian President Gustavo Petro instructed to deal with 15 thousand Americans living illegally in the Latin American country.
