CEO of largest insurance company shot dead

The perpetrator, dressed in black clothing, he shot Thompson in the chest.

The wounded man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Police are searching for the perpetrator.

Brian Thompson was named CEO of UnitedHealthcare in April 2021.
