Britain’s largest airport was closed because of a fire

It became known that all over the world canceled flights to London because of a substation fire at the airport at Heathrow, reports the BBC.

Affected almost 700 flights. More than 60 airlines reported the cancellation of flights.

The planes that had already departed were turned back or sent to other airports.

This is one of the busiest airports in the world; all flights there are now canceled.

It is reported that because of the strongest fire at the substation, 16 thousand houses were left without light.

It is also known that rescuers are conducting evacuations among residents of houses that are located close to the fire.
