Famous American heavyweight boxer George Foreman has died at the age of 76 years old
The death of the legendary boxing champion was announced by his family.
Foreman went down in history as one of the most powerful knockouts in the world.
And his career is considered one of the longest in boxing history.
He won gold at the 1968 Olympics, after becoming champion and retiring from the sport only in 1997.
He became world-famous for his fight with boxing legend Muhammad Ali in 1974.
This fight became one of the greatest fights in boxing history and was called “The Rumble in the Jungle.”
Mohammed Ali won then, defeating Foreman by technical knockout in the 8th round.
After the defeat, Foreman retired from boxing, but at the age of 45, he returned to the ring and again became the champion – the oldest in history.
