US President Joe Biden received newly elected US President Donald Trump at the White House.
This meeting is held according to tradition, when the winner of the election comes to the outgoing President.
It is reported that the American leaders met to discuss the transfer of power.
Biden said during the meeting that he expects a “smooth transition” of power in January.
He also added that he would ensure comfortable conditions for his successor.
“Politics is a tough business, and in many cases it’s not a pleasant world. But today it’s a great world, and I appreciate it very much,” Donald Trump stated.
